The AdMaS Centre was established with financial support from the Research and Development for Innovation Operational Programme, specifically Priority Axis 2, from which it gained a grant of CZK 818 million (CZK 695 million from the European Fund for Regional Development and CZK 123 million from the state budget of the Czech Republic).
Project realization was initiated after receiving a grant in 2011. The construction of the Centre took place from 2012 to 2014. Its full-scale operation was launched in early 2015. The implementation phase of the project AdMaS - strengthening research capacities, took place in the second half of 2015, when there was an acquisition of additional devices and equipmentthe from the grant of 27,5 million CZK (23,375 million CZK from the European Regional Development Fund and 4.125 million CZK from the state budget). The AdMaS Centre has 183 employees, of whom 152 jobs accounted for researchers.
